  • New Macs in 2025 rumored to get at least one major design refresh

I am long overdue for an upgrade and I wish Apple were more consistent with processor upgrades.  You have some Macs still on M2, some on M3 and iPad Pros on M4.  Why is it so? I hope it’s not some clever-ass marketing but rather manufacturing issues.  I don’t wanna buy a Mac on older generations of processors when there are better options today.  What’s the problem with bringing all Macs to the same page?

  • Hands on with the new features in watchOS 5.1.2

Even though Irregular Rhythm Notifications feature has been made available to all Apple Watch series, it does not work outside the U.S. even with USA selected in regional settings. Another disappointment... it’s not an ECG app, which as Apple warned is only available in the US and IS territories.

  • Five reasons why Apple is ending unit sales reporting of Mac, iPhone, and iPad

Thank you for a great and thoughtful analysis. It’s sad that those who seem equipped to make sound analysis are unable to do so. The focus is to grab attention and generate sensational news I am not an investor in Apple but it also pisses me off how this hysteria and coordinated selloff wiped close to $300 billion in market cap that the company clearly deserves and proves each quarter despite wails of doom and gloom every now and then. Looking forward to reading your next piece

  • Poor news curation at Bloomberg, CNBC, Reuters creating misleading iPhone supply chain pan...

Thank you for a great analysis and painting a bigger picture than presented by Wall Street media. It’s a shame that the same rumor mongering happens every new production cycle for Apple and that mediocre analysis makes such an unwarranted impact on Apple’s stock price. It does indeed look like a scheme to manipulate stock prices and I agree there should be liability for spreading false information. Trump would call it fake news and the term is extremely apt in this case. I bet this time the moment for manipulation is expecially opportune: Apple decided to stop breaking down the number of iPhones and iPads sold going forward. Sloppy shallow reporting by business media has been the case for years I remember correcting one WSJ articles since the author did not understand the difference between gross profit and EBIT.
