Can we move any files to a thumb drive other than music or photos? What about Numbers, Pages, and other? Does “external drives” mean an SSD can be plugged into the newer iPads?

I just started shopping at Target again, after a several year hiatus, now that they accept Apple Pay.. I’m not alone here. Lesson for retailers! Last I checked Wally World didn’t accept it. Has this changed. Can’t understand JCP on this decision.. Some of the smallest stores & shops accept AP - even the tiny pizza place near me (double-edge sword).. oh, well.............

While I can see APPLE’s reasoning for a non-upgradable Mini, it would represent such a small market segment that it wouldn’t hurt sales of other of their products.   It’s not like I’m going to buy a MacBook Pro or a Mac Pro just because I can’t get the Mini I want.  I think many of us already have many Apple devices (iMac, iPod, iPhone, iPad Pro here...).  Yes Apple really should consider making a modern Mini that we can upgrade - even if it’s just memory and the drive.  I’d buy two, right now.  Yes, lots of ports; new & old style.
