Starting to get overly complicated. This is where we were not long ago with all of the Windows versions that were out there. The nice thing about keeping things simple is enabling easy decision making when it comes to purchasing. Apple Store employees might need a PhD to help customers figure all of this out.

Initial failures of Apple's butterfly keyboard doomed it from the start
I'm one of those who upgraded to the 16" mainly to escape the butterfly keyboard. I may not be the best typist on the planet, but that keyboard increased my error rate to an unacceptable level. I thought I would get used to it, but I never did.

Go for it, Tim! But only on the condition that CEOs from FaceCrook, Scroogle, and other privacy inept organizations do the same for their active products. Oh what a show that would be.
