How to make new T2-secured Macs boot from external drives
Wouldn't setting a firmware password accomplish the same thing from a security perspective? That is by setting a firmware password, booting from an external drive is not allowed unless you have the firmware password? Seems like Apple's default approach with no external boot allowed, will cause some users problems down the road.

Review: 802.11ac Synology RT2600ac router is the best AirPort replacement we've found yet
I use this router in our office and it is excellent. Recently added the mesh router component (MR2200ac) to take care of some areas that were not getting a great wifi signal and it worked well. I use Synology NAS products so the router OS was familiar. I agree with AppleInsider this router is a good Airport replacement.
