M4 Mac mini may have a USB-C connectivity problem
After the head scratcher exercise required to use Migration Assistant with one Studio Display and two computers, I connected an external raid via USB-C alongside the Studio Display connection. A 10Gb Ethernet connection goes to my 10Gb hub. The Magic Keyboard and Logitech mouse connect via Bluetooth. Seems okay.
But my M1 Ultra Mac Studio has suddenly started (after all this time since new with no changes to any
cables) having resets at night. A new Gremlin to chase down.

UK trial over Apple's App Store fees seeks $1.83B fine
I believe the UK gets income and property taxes from Apple.
The real gist of this money grab is the UK is about broke. Their credit rating is going down as shown by the ever increasing interest rates on the government bonds they continue to issue which reflects on the credit worthiness of the UK. Higher interest rates are for higher risk.
No one is holding a weapon to the body of any UK developer. They are entirely free to create their own store front and sell directly;y to Apple customers like many other Apple centric developers. I say cut the BS.
They want a free ride where they have zero costs incurred to advertise nationally and internationally along with free distribution of the product around the UK and EU. In addition, another benefit I believe is that Apple collects the use/sales/VAT taxes and remits it to the government.

Apple's 2TB M4 Mac mini is $100 off & in stock
Primary computer is M1 Ultra MacStudio (128GB & 8TB SSD) with two Studio Displays. Have a 10Gb ethernet hub and these two devices are interconnected there. Others in my home use the WiFi 6e system which is adequate. Those components were in place about 18 months ago and maybe this year will go to WiFi 7 but v8 is chaffing at the bit.
Apple's trade in values were just too low for viable equipment.
The current M2 mini Pro server will be re-located to one of my son's home as a primary with new Studio Display. All retired at my place Apple gear trickles down over 9 grandkids.
