Apple execs explain why you should use Apple Maps over competitors
I use a TomTom GPS unit when in the UK. I use a RV model of Garmin GPS when in the US. Garmin and TomTom are continuously updated for both their software and data.
The factory installed vehicle GPS units are hit and miss for updates and after the required seven year support often turn into just wasted dash space. -

Once again folks. If you want privacy, find an old cell phone with none of the tracking capability apps (whoops, all of them may have tracking or habit monitoring). Oh, by the way, for years the cell towers track your precise location whenever any recent cell phone is on. The cops can get that data easily, so it has become nearly impossible to remain "lost" for whatever reason.
Coin operated road side phones are in my memory at age 76. Have not seen an operational one in decades....
Here in the UK where I am now, cameras are everywhere. They are becoming a fixture at nearly every stop light in the USA. There are satellites that can "see" if you shaved today. So much for our privacy.

Brydge Max+ keyboard for 11-inch iPad Pro, iPad Air now available
Just received my Brydge Max+ keyboard unit for my 11" iPad Pro M1 2TB. Really like it. Works great on the airlines. One can take it off the keyboard and rotate it to vertical which was not an option before. Build quality is great. Another improvement is the power inlet is now on the same side as the iPad power port so cables do not need to wrap around the desk top.
