Folks, we should not get our shorts in a wedgie. The most obvious option is to NOT use Siri.

I only use it for a count down timer for my coffee machine so I can work in the office and when the timer goes off on my watch, I go get a fresh cup and take it to my wife for her first cup of the day while in bed.

Based upon my limited use, Siri works. 

Updated to the *.1 v versions of the various operating systems and my M1 Ultra, M4 Max Laptop, M4 Pro Mini, iPhone 16 Pro Max, M4 iPad, iPad mini v7 Ultra 2 watch and none turned Apple Intelligence back on from the process.

Until USB-C was on the iPhone, backups locally via Lightning or WiFi 4 or 5 were at a snails pace so folks bought more storage did less frequent backups, I guess.
While 10Gbs has not super fast as it could be, it is much better. And that makes storage of IPhone or iPad more attractive (like Dropbox).

We upgraded the entire family Apple equipment starting in November so it all the latest and greatest. We could see this coming. Bribes not withstanding, the tariffs are coming and other restrictions are coming.

While a M5 Ultra Mac Studio would be great at the $8,000 level,  the crowd will vanish if it is at the $12,000 level.

I believe all the Dodge Ram trucks are made in Mexico and lots of other foreign vehicles are made in Windsor Ontario. Chevy and Ford are mostly domestically made. Slap a 25% tariff on a Dodge truck and sales will turn into distant memories.

So the tariffs are really being used to destroy the USA as we know it. With Oligarchs and their helicopters and private jets, they can get to medical care abroad while our domestic medical system falls apart.

Truly  a man of his convictions........
