Beats $249 Powerbeats Pro boast "Hey Siri" support, shipping in May

Microsoft Store loses eBook sales fight, will refund users & delete books in July
ravnorodom said:Wow. What a surprise... NOT! TV shows and movies are probably on the next list of removing. To be honest, I'm NOT even a big fan of Apple's iBook. Some updates they messed up my collections and especially PDFs just disappeared; plus iBook Store's book collections are not that great. Kindle is my go-to eBook and Acrobat app is where PDFs belong. Sorry, Apple, and so so very sorry, Microsoft, for the bad news. -
Apple narrowly eclipses Microsoft to regain status as most valuable company in US
Johan42 said:harrykatsaros said:Hate the way that market cap is determined. All on conjecture and futures. The idea that MS is more valuable than Apple is preposterous. Apple earns more in a quarter than Microsoft does in a year.
Meanwhile, Apple has been turning out a laundry list of new products that have been successful, along with their Apple Music streaming services. Don't kid yourself that the iPhone is what keeps them afloat. Nice try. -
Apple's services event receives rocky reception from industry and critics
OutdoorAppDeveloper said:Apple does not trust its own customers to make decisions for themselves. That is why you can't side load apps on iOS. It is why apps can't do things in the background or with the screen off. It is why you can't put custom faces on an Apple Watch. It is why you cannot scan WiFi for nearby routers. It is why there is absolutely no adult content on any of Apple's services. Apple won't even add an option users can turn on to remove these restrictions. You are just not allowed to do it because Apple said so.
Now Apple is starting a TV network with carefully curated content. No controversial subjects will be allowed. Nothing that will really challenge our deeply held beliefs. Nothing that anyone anywhere will consider offensive. No real risk taking. We can expect some shows to pass Apple's muster at first but later be pulled when they accidentally trip over a subject that is suddenly controversial or Apple takes a dislike to. That is what Apple does on its App Store. God help the producers if any of their talent do anything to upset Apple's sensibilities at any point in the future.
Plain vanilla, white washed good time rock and roll BS. Speaking of BS, do you think that show would appear on Apple's TV+? I think not.
This might be a surprise to you but not everyone wants or needs content that's filled with sexual content, porn, killing, fighting, political, offensiveness and corrupt nonsense.

Apple cancels AirPower wireless charging mat, citing quality issues
BittySon said:Tim Cook REALLY needs to go. If you can’t deliver, don’t suggest that you can.
Apple is beginning to be known for all the wrong things now. No vision, ok but not innovative products, over-promising and under-delivering, and nothing to suggest that this is likely to change. But more importantly, the company has simply lost operational excellence. That was its DNA. This is a management problem because I doubt that all the smart and creative people have left the building.
