Editorial: Jony Ive's departure opens up an opportunity for Apple to think differently
About a year ago I came upon a YouTube video of Jobs speaking to an audience where he offered these words: "You’ve got to start with the customer experience and work backwards to the technology. You can’t start with the technology and try to figure out where you’re going to try to sell it." The imprint Jobs left inspired, in part, his team to listen to their own internal "navigation" system rather than reflexively adhere to the roadmap co-created by Steve et al.
