    Regarding productivity, the one feature I’d really like to see in OS 26 across all devices is a way to duplicate a Calendar event complete with location data, without using the “repeat” function, and without having to cut and paste both the event information itself, and the location data separately.

    I wonder if those experiencing the hairline cracked glass issue observed the following instructions from Apple? Impossible to say for sure, but it seems like disconnecting the battery cable from the AVP instead of charging the battery while attached to the device may have prevented the cracking issue.

    • Disconnect the battery from Apple Vision Pro.
    • Place Apple Vision Pro on a stable, flat surface with the cover glass facing forward and never downward. Or put your device in the Apple Vision Pro Travel Case (sold separately).

    The following statement is actually untrue: “As for storage, if you do any photograph work, any music, or any video, then it's significantly easier and faster to have them on the machine's own drive as you work.” It’s actually much faster to use an external Thunderbolt SSD drive to store media you’re working with, especially for video work. This approach dedicates the internal SSD to the operating system and software you’re using (such as FCP X, Da Vinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere) to attain full performance while accessing the media being edited from the external drive. So, unless you’re working in the field without access to a portable Thunderbolt drive, it’s definitely a good idea to save money on smaller internal drive that’s about twice the capacity you need for the operating system and software. I say “twice the capacity” because that leaves room for future upgrades, but also because your internal SSD should run faster if it’s not maxed out.
