Warren Buffett calls Tim Cook a 'fantastic manager' of Apple
lkrupp said:viclauyyc said:Interesting word ”Manager”. Seems implied Tim is only a excellent caretaker rather than head of the company.
I personally think Tim is doing an excellent job. One can only create so many new things that a person can carry. Creation for creation sake is pointless, unless it is useful for the user. That quote allegedly originated with Henry Ford about the automobile. While usually attributed to him having said that there's never been conclusive proof that he actually said it.Jobs, though, did say “It’s really hard to design products by focus groups. A lot of times, people don’t know what they want until you show it to them.”

'iPhone 13 Pro' has new colors & stainless steel coating, claims leaker
The whole reason I didn't adopt the 12 Mini was because the battery life was atrocious compared to my 11 Pro and I have no use for 5G yet where I live. I'm still not sure why they adopted power hungry 5G modems in the non-pro line before necessary. There was nothing special about the 12 Pro other than a color, construction material, and the larger battery allowed more head room for 5G.

Like life, product design is full of compromise. We’ll be okay tho.
The problem is that Apple designed the phone for 90% of the population.
I get what you're saying, but the only thing that might be plausible is a rocker switch on each side that's programmable. Although shrinking the screen a bit like is rumored for 2020 and moving the lock button to the top again seems like the easiest solution.
