  • Apple starts selling PlayStation DualSense controller

Worth noting if batteries are your concern, all XBox controllers have a user accessible battery slot and take standard AAs. I use Eneloop rechargeables with mine.

  • Hewlett Packard Enterprise leaving Silicon Valley, moving to Texas

Texas has some interesting ideas about tax rebates for business—some of the most generous in the entire country. It's a no-brainer to relocate there if you can pull talent. Austin is an interesting and diverse city, lots of viewpoints and ideas (and Apple has a huge presence there). Houston is genuinely not terrible either, really, outside of its weird (read: non-existent) zoning laws. Hope you like a factory moving in next door. I've traveled to Houston a lot for business (well, used to) and found I didn't hate it as much as I expected I would.

But talking about a state like Colorado as "ruined" is pretty funny, given the concentration of wealth and entrepreneurship here. My home state of Wisconsin, tho... now there's a backwater. I have no desire to ever return. Beautiful scenery, especially up north, but culturally... scary place.

  • Amazon stops Flex drivers gaming system by hanging iPhones from trees

Funny thing about the original story on Bloomberg is nowhere does it say "iPhone." Nor does the follow-up article, or any of the aggregator versions that then amplified the original article. In fact, this version here at AppleInsider is the only one that mentions "iPhone."

  • Compared: 2017 iPad Pro versus 2020 iPad Pro

Depends how much you want to spend on diminishing returns, really. I recently picked up a nearly mint 2017 iPad Pro (256/wifi) for $350 off Facebook Marketplace. Quick check with Coconut Battery showed 53 cycles. Add $90 for an Apple Pencil from Amazon and I'm off to the races looking for ways to incorporate it into my business. It's a nice piece of kit for the price I paid. I can't imagine paying north of $900 or $1000 for an iPad. The value just isn't there for me. But more power to people for whom it is.

  • Apple Store revenue grows to 31% of Apple's income for 2019

My grudge against those retailers remains today and I always buy my Apple gear directly from Apple.
Why? So you can pay more? Buy from wherever is cheapest, has what you want, and is selling genuine goods/is an authorized reseller to make sure your warranty coverage is in place. There's no difference in the object, they all came from the same dark corner of Shenzhen. Holding a "grudge" about where you buy stuff is silly.
