Isn't having a "keyboard" in this device that resembles the typewriter experience an example of skeuomorphism? Jony where are you? But it does illustrate why skeuomorphic elements were essential at the beginning of the mobile computing revolution. We must be gently led into new technologies like this. Familiarity is everything at this stage.

Even though I'm looking forward to this feature, I'm glad Apple is delaying it until all kinks are worked-out. There's nothing worse than having half-baked software to contend with.

It's a no-brainer because it won't cost you a dime to upgrade. Consider those of us who can't upgrade to the latest MacOS because our equipment suddenly became "out of date?" Do we buy a new Mac to get BigSur or do we wait for AppleSilicon? Since I haven't upgraded my Mac for 8 years (a wonderful run) I'll be shelling-out for AppleSilicon, but will wait until I see all of the model choices & configurations. The buzz, and all that will go with it, will be exciting and new. ♫ Come aboard, we're expecting you ♫
