    Apple Maps does have lane assist. Since Apple designs their systems to be more hands off, you cannot report accidents and such like Waze. Navigation does acknowledge things like construction, wrecks, and slow downs utilizing grouped navigation data and traffic reports. You can also see speed limit signs when navigating.
