Prepare for a scam gold rush with the App Store changes
My only problem with the 30% is that it is not fair. Apps like FB, WhatsApp and all the chart toppers probably contribute most to bandwidth costs, yet aren't billed for it. They are also Free & have no in-app purchases so not like Apple is making a lot of money off them.Instead other apps with in-app purchases, must pay a cut. Paid apps which are generally by smaller devs must also pay a cut.All the spam apps also end up paying barely anything, as there is no fee to have your spyware filled clones of popular apps on the store. The blanket 30% worked when the store launched, and most apps were small dev made, paid apps. But that is no longer the case, and now it is small apps that are subsidizing costs for larger more popular FREE apps that monetize user data to profit. -
