For some, it's not that they're misinformed, but rather that they deliberately want to spread misinformation. It's no different than the pandemic response.

I agree with foregone conclusion on this one.  The pandemic/election farce clearly exhibits the US Congress' modus operandi -- be as obtuse as you possibly can and, as ever, point the finger at someone else.  Why, then, would anyone expect anything different when it comes to an antitrust hearing...especially one that involves iconic brand names?  It really reminds me of the old Paula Cole song, "Where Have All The Cowboys Gone?"  As in, Where Have All Our Leaders Gone?
