  • Apple reduces price of accessories not included in iPhone 12 box

Error in the article.  The iPhone 11 included a 5w charger.  Only the expensive Pro got the USB-C charger.

  • Apple debuts $699 5.4-inch iPhone 12 mini

Apple was very deceptive with their pricing.  The mini and 12 is not $699 and $799.  The real price is $729 and $829.  They intentionally left out carrier discounts from AT&T and Verizon.  They want to lock people into higher priced cell plans.

Claiming to be saving the environment by leaving out $40 of accessories, but increasing the price of the phones by $130, including a USB-C to lightning cable that won’t work with all previous chargers, and after the event release a new $19 USB-C charger for people to buy to use with their new phone.  Well played Apple...for really sticking it to your customers.  Pretty lousy thing to do.

  • Wireless CarPlay support expected in 2021 Honda Accord

Typical Honda models: CarPlay is only on EX and higher trim levels and wireless CarPlay will highly likely only be on the most expensive Touring models since it requires a wireless charge pad to function as well.  Also, Honda stereos are garbage as far as quality.  The 2021 Nissan Rogue will also offer wireless CarPlay.  But to be honest, music always sounds better wired using USB, than using Bluetooth.

  • Compared: Apple's 2020 iPad Air versus 2020 11-inch iPad Pro

@AppleInsider Guys its two separate articles now where you make the mistake of stating the 2020 iPad Air has two speakers. It has the same 4 speaker design as the iPad Pro except they  are only advertised as operating  in landscape
It does not have the same speaker system as the Pro.  It has a two-speaker system that only produces stereo sound in landscape mode.  Apple's webpage clearly specifies this.  The Air has two speaker audio landscape mode.  The Pro has a 4-speaker audio system (that produces stereo sound in both portrait and landscape modes).  In portrait mode, the two top speakers produce the highs and the bottom speakers produce the lows.

  • What the PowerPC to Intel transition tells us about Apple Silicon release dates

I think there is a very significant difference between the situations in 2005 and now.
The processor transition in 2005 was forced by two factors which putted Appel onder huge pressure to find quick solutions:
    1) Motorola announced that it wil stop supplying Apple with their RISC processors
    2) The financial situation of Apple was far from good. It was not coincidence that Bill Gates and Microsoft were also involved.

IBM was supplying PowerPC chips, not Motorola.  Motorola bailed long before that.  Apple wasn't forced.  The PowerPC roadmap was not good for laptops or desktops because of the cooling and power requirements.  A G5 in a laptop was impossible and the fastest G5 required liquid cooling in a desktop.  The Intel switch was not a quick solution because all versions of OS X were both native for Intel and PowerPC since 2000.  Apple's financial situation was very strong in 2005 because the iMac and iPod were enormous successes.  Apple was a very profitable company at that time.  Microsoft's investment in Apple was back in 1997 and they mistakenly sold their Apple stock after the 5 year agreement.  Microsoft had nothing to do with switching to Intel.
