EU tells Apple to open everything up to its rivals
Sorry but the EU really needs to f*#$k off in this. Sorry have no other words for it. There are different strategies, and a closed ecosystem is one of them. In my opinion we need to be very vocal about this. Enough is enough

Apple's forgotten Trailers app is on its way out
I also use it often to see what’s new. I also liked the favorite feature. Wish they did more with it so you would know when you could hire them. I’m glad it will find a new place.

Google will begin automatically enrolling users in two-step verification
The problem I have with this is that you are “forced” to install an extra google app that collects data from you. Glad I use iCloud. I actually also succeeded also to use bing instead of google. -
Google still hasn't updated its iOS apps, while pondering Android privacy controls
Someone should check what kind of traffic goes through the YouTube and maps app at the moment. And if the updates are out, do the check again. That way we will know what kind of changes has been made.
