Apple, Facebook spar over privacy features in iOS 14, overall policies

I wonder, though, if people will even pay attention or just tap to make the dialog box disappear so they can get on with whatever. I know a lot of people who claim not to care about being tracked.Side note: I’d like it if Apple surprised everyone with features like this and the paste notification. Wouldn’t if be great if you updated one day and got to see how many apps were surreptitiously checking your clipboard before those apps had a chance to fix the behavior? -

Apple's iPhone 12 mini has us questioning our larger phones
M68000 said:The choice in phone sizes is great this year. The mini’s screen area approaches the screen area of the older 8 plus but is much easier to hold. I just wish I could get some really good data on whether or not magnets in the 12 series are going to be safe near the body for long periods. I mean after all, holding a phone close to your ear while on call puts the magnets very close to inner ear and the eyes. I don’t want to sound like an alarmist but I think about things like this. Neodymium type magnets are the strongest type it appears. Just not thrilled with having MagSafe yet.
I’m loving my 12 mini despite this fact. -
Google Chrome for Apple Silicon M1 Macs arriving on Wednesday
philboogie said:Good to see yet another developer releasing updated software for the M1. But why would anyone prefer Chrome over Safari? (<serious question)
