    AFAIK, all phone manufacturers that advertise water resistance have a warrantee that excludes water damage.

    Counter intuitive perhaps, but it is the way it has always been.

    To be fair, AppleCare+ (unlike the standard warrantee) does have a clause that states repairs will not exceed $79 for water damage.

    Maybe because — that is just one interpretation? Apple likely intended it to be a fun way to show "condensing a full stage into your device", which is a different interpretation. In any form of art, interpretation is a huge aspect, and yet the loudest group tends to win over in the end. It's a shame because it was a fun commercial.

    Mostly sensible predictions, although I fail to see why the single core performance of the A17 Pro will be much less than the M3.  The M1 iPad Pro was announced April 2021 with single core performance of 2270, the A15 iPhone 13 Pro announced Sept 2021 with single core performance of 2303.  I suspect the A18 iPhone 16 Pro will have similar single core performance to the newly announced iPad Pros.

    I'll be interested to see the multithreaded score for the 3/6 configuration M4 (for <1TB storage) .  Especially how it compares to the new M2 air, which is fully enabled (4/4).
