    You also have been paying attention to the Israeli firm that's able to exploit the iOS without being at the front door, right? 

    So imagine (If you have the capability to imagine)  to realize that it might be that much easier to get into and exploit iOS once side loaded on the device.

    Apple - makes the hardware, the OS, the development kits (scary! they charge a HUGE $99 a year to be in the program /s) host your app, access to a massive, dedicated customer base. 

    Why don't you built something and not charge anyone for access to your hard work. See also 'capitalism'

    That’s a ridiculous comparison.  Xbox has around 100 million active users; iOS is nearing 2 billion. Xbox is limited to games; iOS is used in devices that are used in just about every facet of one’s life.
