  • Apple works on waking Siri without the 'Hey'

    Another good example of Apple working at the wrong end. Apple - forget about the Hey Siri bit and make Siri better at understanding the context of the interchange.. Siri should be a good assistant in the car but she gives every answer except the correct one. Asking Siri to ‘try again’ is a good way of having  road rage against your iPhone.

    Hey American idiots here commenting on Australia. Just to enlighten you soft folks, Australia is a different country to USA and has different industrial/labour laws (yes I spelt both words correctly). Apple Australia is going to have a difficult job emulating Apple US labour practices and finding anything useful in your rabid views.

    Just shows how morally bankrupt is Apple. These Apple unions have come about because Apply did not play fair with its workers’ remuneration, shifts and working conditions. In other words Apple underpaid it staff. 

    Then once Apple staff formed their unions, Apple was able to find the money; give better conditions and give better rosters to its staff - well only those who didn’t make a union. Apple could have done all this and it wouldn’t have unions forming in its shops in the first place. 

    To you lot cheering away for Apple’s nasty bit of work, I’ll give you an Australian character reference - you lot are a mob of ******* bastards.

    And I say that Apple will not have this divide and conquer success in Australia as more Australian Apple staff get represented by Australian unions. 

    I’m not interested in any of the usual gung-ho statements - sadly the USA is a big mess.

  • LG's new 32-inch Smart Monitor has AirPlay 2 for streaming content

    I wish Apple would bring out a 27” iMac so I didn’t have to consider the ins and outs of monitors and which one to buy. My 27” iMac is getting old.
