"Adobe performs content analysis only on content processed or stored on Adobe's servers; we don't analyze content processed or stored locally on your device."
"If you don't want Adobe to use your content for these purposes, you can opt out of content analysis at any time"
Nobody is forced to store files or projects on Adobe's servers and some people will be making imagery that is illegal, which is also illegal for Adobe to host so they have to check it by law.
Using uploaded content for AI training won't be welcomed by artists, that should be opt-in vs opt-out but they could be using it to check what types of images people make so that they train their AI generators on what people need to use it for. A lot of uploads are already in AI models as they are linked from the web somewhere. -

Mac revenue 2023 = $29b
Mac desktop revenue = ~10% = ~$3b
Mac Studio & mini revenue = < 5% = < $1.5b
Mac Studio & mini net margin ~25% = $0.37b
That's how much would be left on the table, assuming nobody bought the older ones that are available now. How much potential revenue determines most companies' priorities.
It's not like the Studio and Pro are outdated, they were refreshed 12 months ago. The mini is 1.5 years out. They can throw an M4 in the mini whenever they want but it's not impacting Apple's income.
Headless desktops still contribute to the total but updating those models or not just doesn't change the outcome by a meaningful amount. If they neglected iPads, laptops or iPhones, that would have a significant outcome so those product lines will always get the higher priority.
Apple's been treating their Mac desktops pretty well considering how little revenue they make. There was a time when the Mac Pro didn't get an update for 6 years and the mini for 4 years. 1 year for the Pro and Studio and 1.5 for the mini is well within a reasonable refresh cycle. A refresh any time in the next year would be fine.

No matter how small the market may be for Mac Studios and Mac Pro, to let them sit for almost two years between updates these days just makes no sense at all.
Since M3 Air was in March 2024, I'd guess M4 Pro/Max MBPs in October 2024, possibly mini. M4 Air in 2025. While they could launch M4 Ultra in October, they usually do Ultra later e.g March-June 2025 for Studio and Mac Pro.
2nm will be ready for iPhone 17 in September 2025:

M5 can be based on this with M5 Ultra in 2026.
WWDC will most likely be about new AI features in macOS and iOS accelerated for M4 and the systems will ship later in the year with the refreshed hardware. -

Documents is 600Gb so I've backed up to an SSD AND a pair of HDD's I use for long term safety storage.I'm not sure yet how to actually move Documents from one user to another, but dont' have room on my 1TB sys SSD for two versions. Got any ideas? Otherwise I will I have to delete Documents from first account and restore them from SSD to the second. Doable but uncomfortable. More than a decade of personal data, taxes, Photoshop, Davinci Resolve, scores of hand built client websites, tens of thousands of files.
The bookmarks for Safari are in /Users/<user>/Library/Safari/Bookmarks.plist, that file can be copied over. The whole folder can probably be copied over.
Da Vinci content will be in /Users/<user>/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/, this folder should copy over.
If it's a single-user computer, the /Users/Shared folder can be used to store some files and it makes it easier to switch to a new user, they wouldn't all have to be copied/moved back into another user folder.
