Apple sat at a crossroads of indecision that led to Project Titan's slow death
StrangeDays said:rob53 said:Apple was correct in dumping Project Titan. They don't have any expertise in building any type of car. They would need land and millions of dollars worth of manufacturing equipment. If they wanted to buy Rivian for a fire sale price to get manufacturing facilities and some expertise, I might go for it but they'd need to do a lot of work on fixing Rivian's vehicles plus come up with a respectable sedan. There is room for an American EV manufacturer, Tesla can't build all the EVs without building several more manufacturing facilities.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Plugin now required to use most Pantone Colors in Adobe products
I suggest to install PANTONE Color Manager, then to export the palettes into the apps from the Export function.Unfortunately, PANTONE Color Manager allows to export them one palette at a time and for every single Adobe application.Anyway, after the export, all the three Adobe applications will have the PANTONE palettes installed and ready to use. -

Despite Thunderbolt, iPad to Mac communication is still a mess
It's a mess with Lightning cables as well.Backupping my 8th gen iPad to my iMac, is quite a hard task. I have and use only original Apple cables, but every single one desconnects from the Mac doing an annoying looping chime, leading to errors and try-and-retry process — change USB port, unplug and pulg the cable, etc.And when it finally go fine, data transfer is sloooooooooooooooooooow!A waste of time, for every single time. And no, I don't want to raise my iCloud+ subscription from 50 to 200 GB in order to do online backups.I just want to do it locally, and it's always a mess.Never happened with the old 30-pin cable.
