Wow, the balls on Apple, continuing their bait and switch tactics with limited memory options for low-end Max chip on the studio. Crazy criminal!

Watching Miani's DoobToob response to today's release, he's wondering why Apple would do this, and also why Apple state that possibly future chips might not get an 'Ultra' upgrade.

Dood--MONEY! Money has always been Apple's motivation with his incremental upgrades. Imagine what an M4 Ultra's processing power could be, and then consider why any Ultra buyers would NEED to upgrade ever again? Or how many people would settle for an M4 Max Studio instead of going the laptop routes.

How about a class-action suit for their longtime pricegouging on memory/drive upgrades--but a good bait-and-switch suit is just begging to be filed for limiting MBP Pro M4s to 48gb while allowing the Mini's Pro version up to 64gb!?! Would've snapped up M4 MBP Pro w/64gb in a minute--pissed to no end when Apple capped them at 48!!! If I was a lawyer I'd already have them in court!!! Apple limited the Pros to 48 to drive sales to the Max==BAIT-AND-SWITCH!

Apple is nothing else if not 'incremental' in updating. So, wishful thinking...

But T-B5 is sorely needed for the Pro Mac/laptop models to drive faster refresh and multiple displays--and through  single port would be nice...
