Apple chose a bad year to launch expensive iPads that aren't compelling
Why do I feel like I’ve heard this kind of critique before? As well as the usual blowhard “Apple sux” comments. And OMG... Wozniak in charge.... Hahahah... The guy who’s mom had to clean out his car and cash $100k checks he’d forgotten. Yup. Definitely CEO material.
Echoing an earlier post, I guess the financials will tell the tale. Presumably, Apple knows how to sell its products to its target audiences. When it fails to do so we’ve seen reversals and redos. including some shake-ups. So this is a lot of kerfuffle over not very much.
Pretty sure Apple's video is shorter and more interesting than this article was, at any rate.

I also wonder how much this is a licensing issue. I haven’t checked, but I’m guessing these aren’t being streamed in AV1. Nor in h.265, which would have increased efficiency and lowered costs, because Google and others have refused to license or implement it in their products.
PS - I work in streaming media. Rarely does the business rational match the technological capability or cost. It’s typically something else — usually screwing over a competitor. -
Apple sued over sexual harassment allegations on 'Emancipation' movie
Righty, because if all you dudes discounting this type of discrimination were categorically paid less due to your being male, you would never sue over it.The gender that invented and is pretty much behind every frivolous lawsuit ever, thinks this is just beyond the pale. Got news for ya’, men litigate the piss out of contracts all the time. So do companies.
Also, do some research, for bog sake, “men” have been trying to enforce pay fairness for themselves for centuries. Now someone not male wants the same it’s some kind of plot to destroy civilization? (And it’s always civilization as the entrenched powers envision it.)
I really wish the editors would just turn off comments for these types of articles. None of the posters ever have any relevant experience or expertise on these matters.
