since i looked at this yesterday i know the MUST sign up for a dongle is a mistake, it's clearly an optional extra, you can take advantage of the free sim card and not add the dongle or just click the No Data Plan option.

"Want to stay connected on the go? Add a data plan and WiFi Dongle" is what it actually says.

I'm getting close to 2 TB with my family. When I back it up to Synology NAS or something else, all the meta-data will be lost in the process. Apple does not provide an API so I can back it up externally. They are locking me in.

Also, this makes iCloud £1 more than Google's way more advanced Google Drive offering with 2TB. iCloud via the browser doesn't even have a keyword Search! Trying to find documents is a nightmare and requires you to know which folder and subfolders it is in. Apple's cloud strategy is behind competitors.

They specifically said it’s not about server costs if you had read any of the Reddit posts regarding this, moderators don’t get paid in fact reddit gets thousands of hours of mod time for free they couldn’t possibly handle all the work themselves

did you fail geography? the UK is not part of the EU but they haven't moved so they are still a part of Europe

A family plan where everyone gets a code to authenticate would be fine. Or just get moms code when Netflix texts hee that you’re logging in 

pay for 4 people and use 4 people in no way can you classify it as stealing, now if they stop people using them 4 they bought that can be classed as fraud and false advertising.
