  • Trump Mobile's made-in-US iPhone 17 competitor is really made in China

They really have missed a marketing opportunity here. It should come with Signal pre-installed and then once a month they pick five luck users and include them in a chat with cabinet members discussing classified information!

Obvious ethical issues aside, this is just weird. The website looks like a parody that was created on geocities circa 1998. It just needs an animated gif or two.  And that phone will go great with a cybertruck. I’m guessing they had the same ketamine influenced design team.

  • Apple's continued lack of native apps on Vision Pro isn't a good sign for the platform

I use mine regularly as well. I think the people that are down on the product just haven’t used it.  It doesn’t take much time on an AVP to realize you are using the future  of  wearable computing.

The lack of native Pages and Numbers is kind of annoying. I’m going to do come completely baseless speculation and question if Holding off was part of a deal with Microsoft to get Office on the platform on day one.

No chance they have added photo editing in 26?

  • Apple's AI ambitions go beyond Siri LLM with Knowledge chatbot and always-on AI copilot

AAPL again screws up...  Release in 2026? IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!!

When Craig was asked by Toms Guide if Siri will be rolled out in 2026, he avoided the answer and explained the root cause.
When Toms Guide asked Craig again for release in 2026, Craig looked over Joz.
    Joz said he confirmed.

Craig has no idea if Siri will be ready.. And the marketing guy said yes...

I bet that Siri will not be ready at iOS26, iOS26.1, iOS26.2 etc.

    Maybe 2027..Maybe...

But  By time they are ready, everyone will be on the next iteration of AI.

    Apple is rotten.
Oh good god, you’re just ignoring and spitting in the face of the forum moderators at this point who at multiple times have told you to knock this shit off. Go to MacRumors, they love trolls and shit posters.
I read the piece of John Gruber today where he says:

"I spoke this week, off the record, to multiple trusted sources in Apple’s software engineering group, and none of them ever saw an internal build of iOS that had this feature before last year’s keynote. That doesn’t mean there wasn’t such a build. But none of my sources ever saw one, and they don’t believe there was one, because they’re in positions where they believe that if there had been such a build, their teams would have had access to it."

So...Who is lying or ignoring? Craig/Joz or their team?

Who is trolling? We will find out. So many contradictions at the end. Release in 2026? Sure? I don´t knock it off.
Based on the Gruber quote you posted, there is no indication that anyone is lying. The one consistent thing here is your poor reading comprehension. Similar to how you don't seem understand the “Something Is Rotten In The State of Cupertino” article, you don’t really understand the article you are quoting. It clearly says “That doesn’t mean there wasn’t such a build.”.  That is Gruber conceding that he actually doesn’t know. Gruber’s sources having never seen the build and Federighi saying there was a build are not contradictory. They can both be true. Given that the delay caused a significant drop in Apple's stock and Federighi is an executive, him lying would warrant an SEC investigation. If you have evidence that he is lying then by all means file a complaint with the SEC. Get back to us on how far you get.

The two things we have learned from your posts is you don’t really get what Gruber is saying and that you have the literary depth of a puddle. "Something is rotten in the state of Cupertino" is a play one a line from Hamlet. The original being “something is rotten in the state of Denmark”. The Hamlet reference is directly related to the point Gruber was making and that you have missed. Hence why you have completely mangled the quote and ended up your broken record style repetition of “Rotten Apple”.

Maybe true.. Maybe not.. John Gruber merely says that he does not know anybody at Apple who has seen Siri performing so well at WWDC 2024. If they did not see it at that time, they did not see v1 or v2 architecture at that time.

But in this case, something is strange, cringe, and rotten. Communication issue? It just leaves the impression that something is rotten and that they are way more behind in AI and in their internal target than they think.
Yes, John Gruber merely said that he does not know anyone that at Apple that has seen it and somehow you mangled that into John Gruber saying Apple was lying. Only you can explain your cognitive dissonance on that one.

What is even driving this concern? Apple has been utilizing manufacturing in India for awhile, have there been quality issues with those products?
