  • Warren Buffett never made anything but money -- and friends with Apple

Finance people are parasites to society. The unsocial welfare kings and queens of the 21st century.

  • Tim Cook praises Trump in US tech titan meeting

We’re living in a very corrupt age and business leaders appear to be fine with a lot of the corruption.
No it's obviously not corruption, when it's the tRump family receiving the benefits. That's what you get for electing a convicted felon that has had multiple bancruptcies on his record.

I know why I dumped my AAPL stock (in December) and moved it out of the US..

  • Developers will have a hard time getting App Store users to buy directly

If I have to go outside of the Apple Ecosystem to make in-app payments I re-think my intention to spend money on that. Why!?

    1. Because it usually is a pain in the a... 'behind' to cancel a subscription outside of the Apple ecosystem. So I rather avoid that to begin with.
    2. So I have to give my private and payment detail to some dubious third party group and probably open yet another account, that then gets hacked within a few short days, because these guys are cheap and stupid.  No thank you.

So in the end. Enforcing 'outside' payments is a quick way to lose/never win me as a paying customer for your stuff.

  • Everything but iPhone will ship from Vietnam and India in Q3

Makes so much sense to not chip from China ... then again, tomorrow the orange clown in the White Power House might figure this out and also increase tariffs on India, Vietnam etc.

It's about time Apple removes it's focus from the US market and finds other markets in the world.

  • Apple revenue could actually benefit from China tariff war

Of course companies will benefit. Prices will rise and US buyers will learn to accept this. Don't forget that over 67% voted for tarrifs in the 2024 elections (Yes I always assume non-voters agree with the winner, otherwise they would have voted differently)
No matter if the tariffs disappear again or not, high prices will remain.
