  • Judge sanctions Apple for blatantly violating 'Fortnite' App Store order

Can the US please stop boycotting Apple NOW! (Or at least shut up when the EU does the same)

  • iPhone 17 Pro predicted to cost over $2000 because of Trump tariffs

The most likely scenario remains that China lowers tariffs on US goods and our reciprocal tariffs automatically adjust.

Why all of these articles fail to mention how reciprocal tariffs work baffles me.
Why would China do that!? The strong partner never should give up it's position.
The only thing China needs to do is stop buying US bonds (they hold trillions in US debt). The bottom would fall out of the US .. that will be the day that the US government can no longer fuel up Air Force One to bring the Clown in chief to his golf course. The truly nuclear option without generating radiation.

  • Apple stock bloodbath continues after China applies retaliatory tariffs

Does this mean we are now great again?
They haven't  told you!? 'MAGA - Make America Go Away'  ... back to the so called good old day, where the US was an agrarian society with a few mega rich.

  • New Apple TV+ studio buildings taking shape in Culver City

Wonder if they’ll have an apple store on the street level.
Odds are pretty low on that based on the number of other Apple Stores at corporate locations. To my knowledge, the only one housed in the same building was the now-closed Infinite Loop store. The Visitor Center Apple Store is in a separate building across the street from the Spaceship (Campus 1).

I'm not aware of any other retail operations at their corporate locations today.

The original Company Store at Infinite Loop started out selling Apple-branded merch (soft goods, coffee mugs, etc.). It slowly transitioned to selling actual Apple products (initially iPods and earbuds, later iPhones and cases and even later a few Macs). Even in its final iteration, the Infinite Loop store was not a full fledged Apple Store, there were no classes and I don't think there were full repair services either. By then there was very little merch, no more "I visited the mothership" t-shirts.
I guess the Infinite Loops store started more as a place for Apple Employees than anything else. As an employee you directly got quite significant rebates on Apple products, without going through a complicated ordering process to get rebated products. Just show your batch and leave. If I remember correctly you got actually higher employee rebates in the Infinite Loop store than in the 'other' Apple Retail stores later on.

  • The EU is betraying iPhone users and weakening privacy for political gain

This is laughable. Apple has rarely delivered all it's feature to EU users (eg. Apple News is not available to most EU citizens). Lot's of other features (e.g. TV+, Fitnes) came later long before the EU did get involved, quite often they never came.

OK now it is Apple AI time (which is not available in the EU). That Apple now claims this is all the EU's fault is just a lie. They just don't bother.
