  • Apple devices in EU getting repair scores & battery life labels

Then again it looks like lobbying works. They also wanted to add a 'product lifetime' of some sort. Some sort of 'this product will get full product updates for the next x years after purchase'. Admittedly Apple is quite good in that compared to the competition, but still generates mostly throwaway products (as with no swappable consumables like batteries, or no possibility to upgrade devices as in the MacBooks etc.). You only need to ask owners of Intel Macs, which will lose support long before the devices are dead.

  • Apple shareholders sue over Siri delays and massive losses

What a complete and utter nonsense. Stocks go up, stocks go down and that's not always related to a companies performance.

AAPL almost always has a year end rally where stock price reaches new record only to lose significantly in Q2 (first quarter of the calendar year). December is a good month to sell AAPL. Stock price usually recovers by the end of the year.

This year obviously the major damage is that convicted felon in the White House and his crazy tariffs .... and obviously Tim has lost his ability to handle the orange clown.

Thankfully I did the obvious thing and emptied my US stock deposit (which I had from my days working for Apple) and sold stocks I got for around $1 a piece ... not exactly at the top but at $250. Because I no longer trust any US bank to handle money, you never know what crazy shit the convicted felon is doing next.

  • Craig Federighi says macOS would ruin what makes the iPad special

Microsoft did that before the iPad came out with the tablet PCs. Turns out this was a complete failure (Windows 8 with this silly pseudo touch interface). By now they went the way of the Zune, the Dodo and the Netbook.

So why on earth should Apple repeat that same mistake? (Unless they want to proof to everybody they now reached the failing company mode that Microsoft got into the early 2000s before they got they current CEO who turned the ship around).

  • Apple & Google profit as Chinese VPNs collect your private data

"Don't assume the App Store is watching out for you"
I would never do that. The Apple AppStore is watching out for Apple and Apple alone. To make sure that it generates fees/profit/subscriptions, stays legal with local jurisdiction and most importantly avoiding taxes like tRump avoids the truth.

  • Apple mixes retro and modern in WWDC swag bag

Greedy Tim looking back means, that he has no vision looking forward. Time to drop Tim Cook and look for someone who actually cares more about the Apple products instead of the bottom line.
