Hoping for a new ATV. Looking to upgrade my first gen 4K. 

I absolutely love the sound of my paired OG Apple HomePods, when they work. I’m sick of them dropping out, going out of sync, sound quality fluctuating between stereo and some weird echo. I switched off Dolby Atmos because it makes music sound crap imo, Siri responding in a completely different room or not responding at all and the good ol, I found some results on the internet etc etc. I’ve tried everything from placement to unpairing, resetting and re-pairing, disconnecting and all the problems persist. They worked fine when I first got them. Maybe I’m just unlucky with my setup because it seems others are not having the same persistent issues I am. 

I think Apple still have the beginnings of a really good product/system though. 

Ugly as fuck except the black option.
