  • Spotify listeners may finally get lossless audio -- but at a cost

    Speed1050 said:

It depends on the third party integrations. Apple doesn’t have many third party integrations, so I can’t stream lossless to either Sonos or, more importantly for me, BlueSound. So, currently on top of my Apple sub I have Qobuz. Amazon HD is pretty good, but they don’t integrate with services like Soundiz for syncing playlists/albums/artists and so on.

As good as Apple’s lossless is, there’s not really anyway I can listen to it when I can feel any benefit. Spotify generally have nailed the curations and integrations, so I’d move to them and pay the additional charge until/if Apple open up their lossless streaming to others.
Sounds like you are missing the point in your reply? Great, you use BlueSound BT speakers, (unneeded) and or Sonos, (same) most just wire up an AVR, heck, the average users don't use any room speakers now days.

What you are mentioning is in the 'premium user base' and not the average user. I agree with AppleZulu.

Oh, and I am testing many of the platforms, and just pushed five of my playlists to Amazon with Soundiiz, from Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, and AM.

  • Tesla reaches settlement in autopilot death case of Apple engineer

There is a massive night and day difference between FSD from 2018 and now. He is proving everyone wrong. All the experts and every major company said that it was impossible for his approach to work, and yet the cars drive by themselves with only minor mistakes here and there. The car still doesn’t understand hand signals yet. I just got back from a 3 ½ hour trip to Indianapolis today and there was a traffic cop waving cars through a red light. That is still one of the situations that the car can’t handle yet. But for the vast majority of situations, the car does fine. I still feel that this will be a finished product by the end of 2026 and most car manufacturers will get Tesla licenses for Honda to use FSD for example and Ford to license FSD, and so on. Tesla is just too far ahead for others to catch up.

  • Apple Music beta trials new feature for importing Spotify playlists

It's a great idea to make it, 'easier' to move playlists, but there are several options out there now, for free!

Here's to hoping it hurts spotify!

  • Masimo has spent $100M in Apple Watch patent infringement fight

Masimo already won the patten case, correct?  Just Apple contesting in court the outcome...

So ya getting Apple to pay up is next, but this Kiani guy thinking that, that also entitles him to "change its interactions with smaller companies." of Apple, is really a joke.

I get that they 'Apple' should, but that's not what his win in court was.   It really makes me laugh at this Kiani guy.  He's acting like some kind of police, and don't forget Masimo is an almost two billion dollar company. They hosed people somewhere.
