I've used a Mac since the mid-80s. My first one was a Mac 512Ke. Fast forward to today and I'm a newspaper editor who owns four computers: a Mac Studio w/Studio Display, a 16-inch M2 MacBook Pro, an M2 MacBook Air and the newest LG Gram 17. I love all of my computers for different reasons. This being a Mac site, I don't have to explain why I like my three Apple computers, but I'll take a few seconds to talk about my one and only PC. This is like the third LG Gram 17 I've owned and it's a great little computer that truly lives up to the name "laptop." At the end of a workday, I like to sit cross-legged in my recliner, perch the LG Gram 17 directly on my lap and start surfing away on the web, check emails and post stuff on Facebook. It's great! One of the biggest changes to this year's model is the addition of a matte display that replaces the "little bit too shiny" one that the laptop featured prior to 2023. I'm not a big fan of Windows computers, but I love my LG Gram 17!
