Interesting take on the situation.  I had/have an iTunes account.  Back in the day I’d buy a few tracks here and there, maybe 30/year.  That’s about $30-40 in annual revenue from me.  Now I subscribe to Apple Music because for $120/year I have a virtual music collection of millions of tracks, and many more downloaded to my devices for offline listening than the size of my previous iTunes library.  I’m sure Apple is doing just fine raking in $4 billion a year and growing on Apple Music subs. 

Exactly my situation.  I love Apple Music.

What rubbish. AP is certainly a success. That some countries banks haven’t got with the program is a detriment to them, but doesn’t make AP not a success. Try again. 

In addition, those countries are most likely the places one would prefer to live over the nations that don’t offer it, which line up with places of poverty and other hardship.

I'm very surprised that South Korea isn't on board already.  Ditto with the Baltic countries, especially Estonia.

This sort of functionality would be brilliant, especially in countries like Australia and NZ.
It really ties in with the 'health tracker' theme Apple have been going for lately in the watch space - fall alerts, heart condition tracking etc.
Particularly for people who use the watch when actually doing sports like surfing, tramping etc.  I wonder if they could get it to advise you when to reapply sunscreen when in the water based on sun exposure, time, activity levels (sweating the lotion off) etc?
