The next DOT lawsuit should go after Ford for having a monopoly on Ford Engines and only putting them in Ford cars.
Tired of my friends bragging about their Ford engines while I have a Chevy. I need to put a Ford engine in my Chevy.

Apple still plans to charge developers for sideloading apps in EU
This is so stupid. Let's not stop at tech companies. Require all companies to accept alternative forms of payment. I would like to go to the store and pay with a bushel of bananas. I don't want to use their payment method of currency or card.

EU companies are complaining that US big tech is ignoring a new antitrust law
I say malicious compliance. Release a special version called iPhoneEU, strip out all encryption, iMessage, browsing, and the app store. You have a basic phone with API's to build anything you want to put on it without anything related to iMessage, security, etc. Have fun EU.

What would be an interesting idea to combat this. Have Apple create about a dozen or so iPhones with special software that does not contain end-to-end encryption. Give them to these idiot politicians, lock them out of their existing devices, and force them to use the unencrypted phone. After their leaked text messages and private photos are available for everyone to see, maybe they'll finally realize how insanely stupid of an idea it would be to eliminate end-to-end encryption.
