iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Plus rumored to get Always-On and ProMotion displays

And honestly, after comparing the 14 Pro Max I had to the Samsung S22 Ultra I just bought, I'm not so sure Apple's screens are 120 hz. Maybe 90 at best.
I don't understand why Apple takes so long to adopt certain technologies. So long, that I moved on...after 14 years of being a loyal Apple customer. I knew the moment I found out Jony Ive had checked out that Apple wasn't gonna be the same. But i stuck around anyway. In the end, I was right. They've been going down hill since the iPhone 7. I was so close to upgrading to the 15 Pro Max. I'm glad I didn't. So many issues. I'm enjoying my 2 year old refurbished Samsung more than my past 4 new iPhones.
The last 4 or 5 iPhones became so dull and with the help of a friend with her Samsung, I saw Android really is better in a lot of ways now.
I always bought the newest iPhones on day one, but lately they've scared me away from doing that (see iPhone 15 Pro.) So I didnt want to start with the S24 Ultra. I needed to see if I liked the Android platform first. So I bought a refurbished S22 Ultra, which showed up in immaculate condition. It looks brand new. I've been using it for 2 weeks now and I absolutely LOVE it!! I just traded in my Apple Watch 7 for a Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. Got $250 for the Apple. I'm about to list my iPhone 14 Pro Max on ebay soon. That's how confident I am that I'm staying in the Android world. It truly is amazing! I should've done it years ago!
Don't get me wrong, I still love Apple. I'm keeping my iMac, MacBook Air and iPad Air, but as for daily drivers, Android just gives me so much more freedom. -
Decade-old Apple Car project may be completely dead
Good thing they gave it up. Could you imagine...7 years of the same style car from Apple. With the only difference between model years being the color options and size of the tires. Every year they'll claim the windshield is twice as crack resistent as last year, yet not 1 person would notice cause it'll still crack easily. They'll remove the lighter socket cause, why the hell not. You don't need it. That's courage, mother f'r! They'll have a proprietary charging port that won't work with the existing infrastructure. They'll have a speed limiter set at 70 mph cause "they" feel that's the optimal operating speed. The center console would be called the "Dynamic Island." They'll claim every year you'll get 3 more hours out of your battery per charge yet not 1 person would notice that, either.
Oh, and they'll have an SE model, a Plus, a Max, a Pro, a Pro Max, an Ultra, an Ultra Pro, and Ultra Pro Max and an Ultra Pro Max Plus.
