    Just because Vietnam has 20 percent tariffs

    it doesn't mean that is the number that will pass onto consumers

    Amazon and Costco doesn’t have to buy from Vietnam at those tariffs , they can negotiate down the rate or tell them to absorb it or no more deal.

    in the case of Apple , Apple will now goto work on Vietnam and suppliers to lower their costs and minimize consumer impact.

    yes it will be tougher for Apple then retailers like Costco but they now have a baseline clarity from which to negotiate

    I'm not sure why people are using share price to prove a point when it is just mass gut reaction - are things better today (share price up) or worse (share price down. Share price really doesn't predict the future only peoples fears or hopes.

    wall street are about numbers . They already have about 100 scenarios gamed out before these numbers are out as well as projections into next 8 quarters for each scenario 

    the fact it’s up tell you that they feel general framework is favorable than the worse case scenario they feared
