  • iPhone SE 4 could be revealed by Valentine's Day

A “testbed” doesn’t mean what you think it means. A mass-produced consumer product isn’t a testbed for anything. At least… it better not be, lol. That would be legitimately terrible.

That would be like saying the first M1 MacBooks were a testbed for Apple Silicon. No. The testbed happened in the years prior to the release of the first M1 Macs.

  • Dubious leak details the exact specifications of Apple's foldable iPhone

Remind me, what problem does a foldable solve??
It solves the problem of some people wanting to purchase it (an Apple foldable), but it doesn’t exist yet to purchase.

I mean, I don’t want an Apple foldable. However, some people do. Why is that not reason enough? That seems like a reasonably-reasonable reason… I reason, lol.

  • Lufthansa now embraces AirTags, since it couldn't ban them

Now the problem is I need to put them in water proof holders because it seems the bagage handlers everywhere are getting too lazy to cover peoples luggage when it rains
If an airline doesn’t hire enough handlers AND doesn’t give the handlers it does hire enough time to load and unload plane with great care… it’s nothing to do with being lazy.

The rumor score of “Possible” doesn’t quite match with the language of the article (“dubious”, “grain of salt”, “doesn't necessarily make a lot of sense at times”, “shady”, “questionable specs”, “likely wrong”).

”Shady” especially. Shady connotes a sense of… I don’t know… the possibility of immoral character or unethical behavior, maybe. “Shady” is quite strong of a word to use… while then still saying it’s “Possible”, lol.

  • Apple now offers parts and self-repair manuals for M4 Mac lineup

Why bother to keep old machine. Apple products should be recycle every 3 years or so.
If you Mac conntect to UPS for irregular electric flucuation, within 3 years there should be no problem.
Every 3 years Mac mini upgrade should give you 20-35% CPU bump. Perhapes Apple might bump SSD size to 512GB as base model.
I replace my M1 mini to M4 and Apple trade in pay me $300. So I pay only $299 for base model.
You didn’t recycle your M1 for $300. You sold it (/traded it in) for $300. And the company (the company that is partnered with Apple) that bought your M1 for $300 did so because it expects to sell it to someone else for more than $300.

If everyone felt the way you do, there is no way you would have gotten $300 for your “old machine”. Why would anybody bother buying your old machine for $300, right?
