After using my Air for a couple of weeks, Touch ID seems very antiquated. It's out of place on an industry-leading tablet in 2025. It's very obvious Apple has held Face ID back from all the non-Pro iPads on purpose.xyzzy-xxx said:I have the M2 iPad Air – while I like the device overall for me the decision to put Touch ID in the "power" button is one of the worst decisions and very annoying.
It's hard to use reliably when the iPad lays on a table and not handy when Touch ID authentication is needed while using the device.
