  • iPhone 15 Pro Max rumored to be only model that gets new periscope lens tech

Apple really needs to add Semi Pro to it's lineup. A Pro without the following features... Periscope Lens.

I just can't buy a phone that is as large as a tablet.
This is an odd comment for an article about the smaller pro phone NOT getting the periscope lens…

  • Galactic tensions rise as Apple TV+ series 'Foundation' returns in July

This Sci-Fi show should have been something that I would have watched.  I watched the 2 episodes so far of SILO and like that.   I think I started watching the first episode of Foundation, and for some reason, I can't even remember never finished watching the whole series.  I guess I have a couple of months to watch it through before the second season starts.

AppleTV+ in general doesn't have a ton of content, but what they do have, most of it is great.    My time is limited on what I can watch.
I was unconvinced after a few episodes. But the AppleTV+ shows already seem to have a pedigree—they often go with slow burn that builds in a very appealing way—for me at least. I stuck with Foundation and by the end was really grooving on it. I will re-watch before July…

Funny that the results were not so nebulous that you could write a whole article on it now. Why the rush to judgement? Why not just wait till machines with the new AMD chip are released and then you know, report actual results?  Crazy idea right?
Well, you could just as easily question why AMD released this bundle of information before the product was ready for release. I mean, AI pretty much HAS to cover this as it is relevant news.  The appropriate thing to do is acknowledge the lack of concrete information while reporting on what information can be gleaned or inferred (which is exactly what they did).

Obviously they can’t to a review, but just as obviously they can’t simply ignore it. AMD made it news and wanted it to be reported on. It’s odd you would criticize AI for doing just that…

I don’t own a high end bicycle but I know several cost upwards of around $10,000 or even higher, without a motor.

Yeah, the list price is definitely in the same ballpark as similar eBikes. I have a Pedego store in my neighborhood and their least expensive eBikes are around $2000 and they only go up from there, depending on the model and capabilities. Their mountain bike version is $9000.
Agreed. My MTB cost a whole heckava lot more than $2K and it doesn’t have a motor. But there are different things that drive up price. Low weight and high quality suspension is a very expensive combination, but with a motor the need for weight savings decreases dramatically.
This thing isn’t really a mountain bike either. It’s more of a rugged moped. But it isn’t notably expensive…

Is stating that Qi2 is based on MagSafe the correct way to state that? Isn't MagSafe based on the Qi standard?
From a Jan 10 article here in AI:
“For Qi2, WPC member Apple handed over MagSafe as a concept to the organization. This enabled MagSafe to become the "basis" for the new standard.”

There is some give and take going on with the Qi standard as it evolves over time—you could probably argue it both ways, but it looks like this statement is a reasonable take on Qi2 standard.
