    The further away we are from Steve Job’s death, the less relevant this comment becomes. You don’t know what Steve Jobs would have allowed in 2017 : first, because he “allowed” seemingly weird design decisions himself, and second, because the further we are from his era, the more differentiated the possibilities become. iPhone X is not iPhone 4 because iPhone X was not possible when iPhone 4 came out. Steve Jobs deserves a lot of respect, but thankfully for us, Steve Jobs isn’t the only one who knows how to design things. Steve Jobs was a great man, not a religion.
