  • President-elect Trump says Apple CEO Tim Cook phoned him after victory

Just so you know in advance, I am going to slam all of the hateful and ignorant, little liberals on here when it turns out that Trump actually turns out to be a good President.

Imagine if it turns out that Apple and other American companies will be able to repatriate all or most of their foreign cash during Trump's term. Trump is a doer, unlike the community organizer and full-time golfer that has held the position for the last 8 years.

The guy hasn't even begun at his new job yet, and yet, probably all of the same idiots who loudly declared that Trump had a 0% chance of winning, are the same idiots that are now declaring his term to be a failure, when it hasn't even begun yet.

I suppose that these are the same clueless idiots who applauded and thought that it was a good idea when Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in advance, at the very beginning of his Presidency.

No matter what happens, I am going to enjoy the next 4 years, and I suspect that there will be a lot more crying, whining and tantrums to be had from liberals, who basically act like racist, adult babies. They will just have to be smacked down, that is how to deal with adult babies.
You outed yourself at "community organizer" as someone that just regurgitates right-wing propaganda. The right only acknowledges his term in the US Senate as if he didn't spend seven years in the Illinois State Senate. Nice! Closing with a little hate speech.

They need to stop picking random numbers and just get in a room with Amazon until they make a deal. There's no sense changing the number until they know Amazon will accept it. I doubt Amazon will accept anything above 3% or so.
Is it really worth it for Apple to do that just to get 3-4 shows (Amazon exclusives) on the Apple TV natively? I don't think it is. I personally would love Prime Video on my ATV but if I was Apple I would cut my rate to 1/5th just to do it.
Amazon could do a Prime app for the Apple TV and not pay Apple a cut. They only have to pay Apple if allow subscriptions through the App. They obviously do not want people buying Apple TVs. They would rather you have Fire TV devices and be in Amazon's ecosystem instead of having an app inside of Apple's. All this does for my family is mean that I have both devices. I watch Prime on the FireTV Stick and watch everything else on the AppleTV. I'm not buying content on Amazon for any reason. I will occasionally rent movies using the credits from not accepting the 2 day prime shipping when I don't need it, but that is it.

  • Apple brings about the end of the physical Function key with MacBook Pro Touch Bar

I like how it is the end of the physical function keys.... Well except the two notebook models that still have them. :) Hopefully they will put out a Thunderbolt Keyboard with the Touch Bar. Would like one on our iMac. This may well be the end of the Mac Pro. That shot with the two 5K displays and the peripherals looked very much like what they did with the Mac Pro and the 4K displays.

This will likely not be the end of declines over this issue.

  • French Apple iPhone, iMac bludgeoner given six-month suspended jail sentence, fined

Something is wrong here, Apple should have been able to show evidence of those damages, either as repair/replacement/labor invoices, insurance claims, etc. Perhaps Apple's insurance company will go after this guy separately for what ever damages they cover.
I think the judges point is that Apple claimed retail prices even though the systems were not for retail. Apple's internal costs for replacing the systems is what should be deemed fair value since he didn't destroy stock on the shelves so to speak. That makes sense for the most part. Would have liked to see him get some jail time though since it was totally pre-meditated taking that ball in there with the protective glove. He knew what he was doing was wrong, but managed to plan it out and go through with it. So being "in a monster state of anger" wasn't something that just happened in a blink of an eye that he couldn't save himself from.
