I have a Classic Mac Pro tower and I love the ability to put in more RAM, hard drives, SSDs, graphic cards, USB cards etc, etc.
Guess how much of the upgrades I get from Apple?
An xMac may make a lot of sense for some, but I dare say not for Apple!

The iPod touch is a worthy end to the iconic music line
The iPod touch has been great for my two kids. Looking forward to installing iOS 12 on them, which one said "NOooooo...", and the other declared: "Worst. Update. Ever" when I described Screen Time to then.
But for the under 10s, perfect device. If only it had an eSIM for data...

Ill-informed YouTuber bemoans Apple repair policies after breaking iMac Pro
There’s a YouTube vlogger whose hydrolocked car was a write off because the insurer couldn’t be certain it would not have issues afterwards.
I can see why Apple or indeed anyone would give pause as they wouldn’t want to have issues later and be held responsible for not completely “fixing” it.
But the cost to repair it is educational. If Linus was prepared to pay for the real repair cost, it may be cheaper to buy a new one.

Apple can always do better, but I’d agree on DED’s take over Gurman’s any day when it comes to longer term hardware trends.
