The edge to edge screen is a gimmick:Its physical size may be the same as the iPhone, but its usable screen is actually smaller. Samsung would have to disable the outer edges of the screen in order to make the edge to edge screen work ergonomically. It is a flawed concept.>:x

I've never really understood the edge to edge fad. It makes the phone awkward to hold with your fingers obscuring the content on the screen or accidently triggering events of the User Interface.cnocbui said:

It doesn't compare and never it has to. This is an artificial debate. No one in Apple said anything like that. Steve Jobs said "PCs will become trucks", not "cars will replace trucks". iPad is a information appliance, Retina Macbook is a full featured OS X computer.
