    Randall Stephens, AT&T's CEO must have a really nice golden-parachute included in his contract and he's trying to get the board to exercise it. Why else would he look at a declining product and decide less choice and much higher pricing is the way to fix it?

Maybe it will give people a taste of breaking a problem down into steps, working with picky syntax, and introduce some other basic software production concepts. But compared to XCode, Eclipse, NetBeans, IntelliJ, and other "real" development environments, Swift Playground seems almost delusional.
    I'll be putting this one my 10yo son's iPad. He wants to learn stuff like this but I don't have the experience or know-how to even teach him the basics. This should help me foster his interests for a little while.
