I wish Apple would shit or get off the pot when it comes to supporting pros. Integrated graphics don’t cut it, period, especially since major pro software packages are built to take advantage of real GPUs. They aren’t going to rewrite their stuff for the small Mac market. It’s exhausting being strung along by Apple. 

Could I use two minis as dedicated speakers for a Mac Pro? Is there a way to “lock” onto them permanently from a device so they play all audio, like system sounds, etc. or can you only play things manually like music from iTunes?

Illustration/Digital Art probably points to Apple Pencil updates, though I’d expect an iPad Pro release for that.

Ludicrous. In what world does Apple collaborate with hardware competitors to develop their products and/or offload software distribution? If they wanted Valve’s talent, they could buy the company 20x over with their cash hoard.

This series could be really interesting if the author dropped his defensive whining about Apple coverage in tech media. This article got so bogged down in petty comparisons that it lost the potentially interesting thread of the pros and cons of Apple’s dependency on China. Enough fanboyism, nobody reading Appleinsider.com needs to be schooled on this crap.
