Angela Ahrendts treats Apple Store employees like execs, retained 81% of workforce in 2015
jameskatt2 said:cnocbui said:I wonder does someone search her bag each day as she leaves? I imagine so if Apple treats it's retail employees as executives. I'll bet she was thrilled with the 9 month Apple Music subscription gift.
She doesn't carry a bag.
She has no need for a bag.
She wears pants just like the men do.
She carries 10 pounds of stuff in her pockets just like the men do.
You don't seem to have much familiarity with women, you should try to get to know some.

Apple CFO says 'fair' outcome in Irish tax investigation would be no money owed
singularity said:cnocbui said:No. This is about unfair competition. You can't redress that by a negotiated lesser amount, the EU wouldn't allow that as the core issue of Apple being in receipt of a subsidy would still exist.

Intel details new Skylake chips hinting at Apple's future 15" MacBook Pro specs
pulseimages said:6Sgoldfish is correct. Apple has more nerve than usual pushing a very expensive product out the door such as the 15'' MBP with it's 3 year old chip technology. But every year we get a new iPhone...yipee! -

Apple CFO says 'fair' outcome in Irish tax investigation would be no money owed

The whole point of this exercise (is)that there is a suspicion that Ireland gave Apple, and probably some other companies as well, an unfair advantage over their rivals by not collecting 12.5% of their profits. The only way to redress that unfair advantage is for Ireland to collect the taxes that they should have collected in the first place. There is no fine payable to the EU or taxes to be forwarded to the EU. There is no 'bill' to foot.
On a more serious note. You are speculating that the Ireland / Tech Co Conspiracy, once ferreted out by the EU, doesn't have any penaties levied on the conspirators?
