  • Apple's 12-inch MacBook may be coming closer to a rebirth

I loved my 12 inch, still have it, still works ( has a bump due to battery)
With an m series processor and a decent keyboard would be fantastic. Even if they kept a single usb-c, but with a MagSafe as well.

We have one of these, and it's the only way to bring our garage door into HomeKit - the garage door uses RF to communicate with the bridge.  It has been very reliable in general with only one off-line incident in several years.
I'm not sure what those other 99% of people are doing?
Are you using the device mentioned in the article?  I have two wi-fi enabled liftmaster 8500's plus the aforementioned bridge.  I'm pretty sure there's no RF in the mix.  You configure the 8500's via wi-fi and you add the bridge via wifi.  Granted, it's been 6 months or so since I last went through the configuration but it was well known by the support people that the instructions provided with the device didn't match the instructions they were using to provide support.
Of course there is rf in the mix, rf that exists in the door opener, before you even add the POC mentioned in the artcle

  • Latest VMWare Fusion tech preview brings Windows 11 to Apple Silicon Macs

I wish AI and others would write clarify Windows 11 compatibility in a clearer way.

They are referring to Windows 11 ARM right?  VMware Fusion will NOT bring Windows 11x64 to ASi Macs right?
    You are right, sadly.
However, I am currently running ARM based windows 10, on Parallels on my new M2 Air. On this windows 10 I have installed my accounting package (was Peachtree now its SAGE) which is Intel x86. Windows 10 emulator is taking care of it. Result - Sage accounting is running very well. Seemingly no slower than it ran on a native Intel Windows PC.

I am touched. Wait a moment.I have never been on Twitter and left Facebook one year ago. Maybe changes to Meta and Dorsey leaving Twitter were result of that  :D
I quit both earlier this year.  Both are evil companies.  I don't suspect this will improve Twitter at all.  At Least Hipster Rasputin won't have his mug everywhere.
Apple is not exactly a saint either. Maybe not ‘evil’ per se but tiptoeing around it sometimes.
WTF does Apple have to do with any of this?  They don't have a social media presence!
He’s not wrong though, as Apple sometimes treads in murky waters, especially in regard to China.
In regard to Twitter, nothing will change about that company. Unfortunately he is still on at Square.
Did Apple experience China haters' accusations in China? None! Nada! This is unlike what Twitter experienced in US.
Twitter experienced USA haters in the USA? That’s what you’re saying?
Jack Twitter Dorsey acted like a coward. His lack of courage undermined democracy in the USA
