Samsung mocks iPhone 14 in latest ad campaign
Guys come on, quit playing Fox and the Grapes...
I am a 100% macFanBoy, have purchased over 100 apple product in my lifetime, since 1985!
If they don't get a Flip and/or Fold next year for the 2023, "iPhone 15"
That's that... Samsung kicked our ASS. I am not gonna sit here in denial!
I had a Motorola Flip (2-3 of um) back in the day and it's NiiiCCCCEEEE...
Sorry, face facts dawgs... They have the SCREEN TECH, and Apple can't do an F-ing thing!
Get real boys... BUT we kick their ass on EVERYTHING else, so... you know the saying:
You can't win um all... -
macOS Monterey 12.5.1 now available with important security patches

Apple releases macOS Monterey 12.4 to the public
darkvader said:Anybody else think 2.2GB for an update that doesn't really add any features seems a bit much?I mean, that's only slightly smaller than the entire current Xubuntu OS release, for what is ultimately a minor patch. I've got clients who still have 12 megabit DSL connections, patches like this are a pain for them.
Hope this helps! -
EU will force Apple & Google to allow third-party app stores, payment services
Everyone doesn't "win"TheObannonFile said:Can’t this be handled with flick of a switch to make everyone happy? Have a setting in Settings > App Store “Allow Sideloading”. Have it switched off by default. If a user switches it on, they can side load. Everyone wins, and nobody is forced to do something they don’t want to.
Yes indeed. And honestly people from other countries don't really feel like paying for "Other Countries or the USA's" software IMHO, like it should just be free. Piracy, staved off by Apple for 10 years, soon to make a comeback, pitiful!darelrex said:The biggest (and largely unspoken in this debate) problem with sideloading is that it's a portal for mass, casual piracy of third-party apps, especially mom-and-pop apps that don't depend on host servers. (That's why Epic Games is fine with this; their best products are server-dependent, hence already piracy-proof.) Then, small-time app developers — the very ones the legislation is allegedly crafted to protect — see 80-90% of their revenue disappear. That's what happens on Android, now it will happen on iPhone/iPad too? -
The Mac Studio isn't the xMac, but it's the closest we've ever been

Here Apple has full control of its hardware assets and the price somehow gets worse than with Intel. Ouch.27” being the only size for the display is a bit of a letdown as well. And the 5k resolution is ok. But nothing special. Some of us have had 27” iMac 5ks for 7 years already.Hopefully this means that a monster iMac 27” or hopefully larger is still on the way and hopefully it doesn’t start at $5,000 dollars.
They are going colors with MacBook Airs and iMacs... they have basically cemented their "Color Lineup"
Why didn't you get an MacMini M1?
Why don't you wait till a MacMini M2 comes out? (and not buy that)
Then you can complain that the M2 isn't enough?
and just keep going on and on with these grapes man...
